Redmark PDF Editor — Drawing markup for hospitality
Redmark is a local-first PDF editor for construction and kitchen drawings. A hospitality FF&E and kitchen contractor uses it every day so estimators and site staff can mark up restaurant plans without uploading a sheet, without a Bluebeam licence, and without leaving the company’s own server. Markup is baked into a real PDF that still opens in Adobe, Bluebeam, and any other viewer. The original file is never overwritten unless staff choose that file on Save.

What staff can do
- Open large construction PDFs locally; keep up to 25 drawings in tabs; session restores after refresh
- Save a real marked PDF; optional Flatten (secure) so white patches and snips cannot be peeled off
- Split, merge, and print with markup; Fit zoom down to 10% for A0 sheets; sharp high-DPI page render
- Compare two revisions of the same drawing — red shows what was removed, blue shows what was added
- Copy a page from the thumbnail strip and insert it between other pages
- Hand-Sketch view (pencil on cream paper) and export a sketched PDF without changing the original
- Full markup set: pen, stamps, highlight, notes, arrows, call-outs, revision clouds, dimensions, area m²
- Calibrate to millimetres or metres with snap to line junctions; stamps print Author and Melbourne time
- Snip, paste or drop images; Text Edit to redact and replace existing PDF words
- Bluebeam-style Markups list (status, comments, CSV/PDF report); undo; Help stays offline
- Install on a Windows PC from Mako, or a USB kit that needs no Administrator
Twenty hospitality staff can mark up a kitchen plan on their own server, compare two issued revisions in red and blue, and hand the next person a real PDF — not a sidecar file, and not a cloud upload.

A custom workplace platform built for a hospitality FF&E and kitchen contractor. Staff log in once and run the real job: chat with a company AI, raise ideas, price stainless, compare drawings, take off proposal schedules, and move every purchased item from the customer purchase order through pick, load, delivery, install, and invoice. The whole stack lives on the company's own server and is used every day.
